Pundits call Joe Biden a gaffe machine, and maybe they're right. It's a miracle that something he's said hasn't derailed the Obama campaign so far. But there's one thing you have to love about the guy - his sense of humor. He is absolutely hilarious, as a friend of mind who met him at the ServiceNation event can attest to. Joe Biden is a really likeable guy, and hopefully that shows through in the VP debate tomorrow. He needs to do what the Obama campaign brought him on to do - show that there is a relateable side to the Democratic ticket, and his sense of humor can definitely help get the job done. There's one thing he can't afford to do, however, and that's using his caustic wit against Sarah Palin herself. He needs to stay focused on McCain and stay away from the trap of antagonizing Palin, a figure who many people find likeable and feel sympathy towards. He can't handle her too roughly.
