I think this is an important read for all those "Obamicans" that the President was refering to during the campaign. Oh, wait, there are none.

huh?
i don't get the joke. also, isn't it important to note that the republicans are the ones who have rejected bipartisanship so far? they're the ones who wouldn't give the stimulus bill any votes, and have generally been obstructive. no wonder the dems decided to use reconciliation for the healthcare bill; they've gotten smart, and know that the only way to deal with an opposition that is dug into an ideological trench is to go over their heads, not engage them. the republicans must earn engagement by proving that they're actually willing to be bipartisan. obama extended his hand with the stimulus, and they slapped it away. they failed the test. if they wanna come back to the table and be adults, then that's cool.
I'm not even going to try.
I'm not even going to try to respond. It is what it is. Obama has polarized the country more than any President in quite some time. I linked to the article. And it is what it is. Obama has done away with bipartisanship.

haha
nice. you just state something and then refuse to address argument. even the article you linked to has more nuance than what you're trying to say - it blames both parties for partisanship. come on, man, get real.
I'm just tired.
Not really, I'm just tired of the same old record that I'm playing.
I believe in bipartisanship. I believe that both sides of the political spectrum have something to offer. Overall, Obama is a failure in terms of bipartisanship.
And, if you're a regular reader of the blog, then you know that I've called out Obama worshipers-- there's a reason why the approval rating of Obama's POLICIES is completely out of step with Obama's own approval rating. That's Obama worship. When you become enamored with the person and fail to see what the person actually does.
If you really want me to respond, just look back to past posts that I've made and their comments. But, if you've finished reading this comment, you've got it in a nutshell.
White Russian
nonsense
how can you blame solely obama for the breakdown in bipartisanship? you truly believe that the republicans have made an outstanding effort to be helpful and deserve none of the blame? you say you believe in bipartisanship, but you're being extremely partisan in your assessment of this situation. it's obvious that both sides have played a role in the breakdown of bipartisanship, and anybody who says otherwise isn't telling the truth.
if it's true, then good for
if it's true, then good for him, and good riddance to all that bipartisanship garbage. it was a political gimmick that politicians used to get elected. at least he's not pretending to include obstructionist congressional republicans in some imaginary big happy family.
